PAED PREFERRED REVIEW:
La Roche-Posay is a French producer of dermatological products. This product is a “Cleansing Body Cream-Gel” ie a cleanser. It is designed to be used in conjunction with Lipikar Baume AP+, the corresponding moisturiser. Syndet is suitable for newborns, infants and older children. It can be used on both normal and eczema-flared skin for everyday cleansing.
Eczema flares can be caused by a number of different triggers. These include soaps, perfumes and preservatives (of which parabens are one). This product is free of those potential triggers. For those with eczematous skin and particular allergies, the ingredients are clearly listed.
This cleanser, particularly when used in conjunction with the Syndet moisturiser, works extremely well for my patients and is highly recommended. It has become my preferred cleanser for children with very dry skin.
